Baby Bottle Warmers Keeping Baby Bottles Warm

Taking care of our babies is one of the most rewarding tasks there is in the whole world, if not the only. When we see our babies smile or hear them laugh, or even watch them sleep, we realize that we can never feel so much joy in any other situation. This is why we are always on our toes when it comes to making sure that our baby gets the best care from us.

When we travel with our babies, we want to make sure that the milk they drink is just the right temperature. This can be difficult especially when the travel is long; it is a good thing that we can purchase baby bottle warmers just about anywhere.

Bottle warmers for babies come in different styles; you can find baby bottle warmers that can only hold single bottles, while some would hold two or three. Some bottle warmers are as simple as a zipped tubular container that can keep bottles warmed for a short period of time. Other baby bottle warmers though, are more travel friendly.

A bottle warmer can keep the bottle warm overnight or while you are traveling. When travelling, the recommended bottle warmers could be those that can be plugged into the car’s cigarette lighter or the ones that lets you put in hot water to heat up the bottle. The flasks that can hold warm water are ideal if you are not travelling in your own car.

Although most bottle warmers have been replaced by microwaveable bottles, some parents would choose not to use the microwave to heat up their baby’s milk bottle. This is because the microwave does not heat the milk evenly. This means that some parts of the milk may be too hot for your baby’s delicate tongue and you would not be sure which parts these are even if you test it on your wrist.

Additionally, if you are at home and choose to warm up the milk in a jug of hot water, the danger of accidentally burning yourself or your baby’s little hands is greater. Baby bottle warmers therefore are the safest choice, even at home. Also, milk for your baby does not need to be a specific temperature; lukewarm is fine – not too hot and not too cold.
